W Fort Lauderdale Residences

The complex, built in 2009, consists of two buildings: the East Tower with the 517-room hotel and the West Tower with its 171 residences. Of these residences, the 147 unsold units will be re-designed, (as well as all the hotel's facilities, and amenitie) and sold as condominium residential units.

Related has contracted Design firm Meyer Davis Studio for the re-design project.Units will be sold in price ranges starting in the low $500,000s for 800 square feet to 1,500 square feet residences.

Owners will be able to use the building's pool, gym and other amenities, while at the same time they are allowed to enjoy all W Fort Lauderdale Hotel's amenities, beach facilities, lounge chairs, towels, etc.

W Fort Lauderdale Residences are not exactly a condo-hotel. The developers are selling units as strictly residences. However, there will be no rental restrictions at W Fort Lauderdale. This means that owners will be allowed to rent for long or short periods if they want to produce income from their property.But, unlike most condo-hotels, they can also choose to live and enjoy their apartment the whole year without limitations.

In case that an owner at W Fort Lauderdale Residences would want to use his apartment for just a few weeks every year and rent it the rest of the time, without the efforts and worries, he can place it in W Fort Lauderdale Hotel's rental program.

W Fort Lauderdale residences are not "decorator-ready". This euphemism usually means that the floors would come in bare concrete and new owners must provide (and pay extra dollars) to finish these floors with their choice of ceramic, marble, wood, or carpet.

At W Fort Lauderdale, the apartments will be delivered completely finished, and FURNISHED, with good looking floors, and premium brand name appliances.

You will therefore be able to use your perfect apartment the minute it's delivered to you. And you will not have to deal with many months of messy corridors, dust, and workers all over the place.
